1 John 4: Real vs Rotten

In the first part of 1 John 4, we're going to look at how to trust what we hear and to understand what comes from the Spirit of God and what comes from anywhere else. Things that come from the Spirit of God will last and can be trusted, but anything else will fade away. 

A trust and a belief in Jesus because of his Holy Spirit leads to eternal life. It's a power that overcomes anything this world has to offer. 

Remember, one of the purposes of 1 John was to remind believers of the reality of what they believe. This is an evergreen message: Look to Jesus, know Jesus, trust Jesus, follow Jesus.

As we continue into our series in the book of Acts, we come to an unexpected transformation of a man named Saul. When we first met Saul, he was overseeing the murder of Stephen. A Brief Update About Website Updates

Until this post, our website hadn't been updated in nearly a year.  We apologize for the inconvenience, and hope to post more videos from our sermons shortly. We are currently in a series in Philippians, and would love to explore that letter to an early church with you. On September 2, 2021, Pastor Jeff's wife passed away because of complications around leukemia and its treatment. The result was that the updates of this website were not as high of a priority until his schedule could become more consistent, and the timing worked better to dedicate time to updates.
