Hebrews 12: Run

The author of Hebrews has spent the entire letter reminding the readers of God's faithfulness for generation after generation, and in Hebrews 12, we see the metaphor of a crowd gathering to watch the current generation run, and finish, their race.

Since everything written before is true, we fix our eyes on the author of that truth (Jesus), and run the race set before us, we shed the weight of sin because of God's grace, and we trust in him to guide us and keep us until we reach the completion.
