Hebrews 12: Run

The author of Hebrews has spent the entire letter reminding the readers of God's faithfulness for generation after generation, and in Hebrews 12, we see the metaphor of a crowd gathering to watch the current generation run, and finish, their race.

Since everything written before is true, we fix our eyes on the author of that truth (Jesus), and run the race set before us, we shed the weight of sin because of God's grace, and we trust in him to guide us and keep us until we reach the completion. As we continue into our series in the book of Acts, we come to an unexpected transformation of a man named Saul. When we first met Saul, he was overseeing the murder of Stephen. A Brief Update About Website Updates

Until this post, our website hadn't been updated in nearly a year.  We apologize for the inconvenience, and hope to post more videos from our sermons shortly. We are currently in a series in Philippians, and would love to explore that letter to an early church with you. On September 2, 2021, Pastor Jeff's wife passed away because of complications around leukemia and its treatment. The result was that the updates of this website were not as high of a priority until his schedule could become more consistent, and the timing worked better to dedicate time to updates.
