Faithful - January 3, 2021

It's a common thing to make resolutions, especially around our faith, going into the new year. It's normal. We're not leaving a normal year, though, and the next year is picking up where the last one left off.

So what's this mean for how we meet with God? What does this mean for our thoughts about him and what he thinks about us? We look at Psalm 42 this week, where the author (probably David) is away from his house of worship and giving his heart a reminder about the faithfulness of God and to trust in God for redemption of his circumstances. As we continue into our series in the book of Acts, we come to an unexpected transformation of a man named Saul. When we first met Saul, he was overseeing the murder of Stephen. At the beginning of chapter nine , he's breathing murderous threats and rounding up followers of Jesus (with the approval of the high priests). Surely, he was an enemy of the early church. A Brief Update About Website Updates

Until this post, our website hadn't been updated in nearly a year.  We apologize for the inconvenience, and hope to post more videos from our sermons shortly. We are currently in a series in Philippians, and would love to explore that letter to an early church with you. On September 2, 2021, Pastor Jeff's wife passed away because of complications around leukemia and its treatment. The result was that the updates of this website were not as high of a priority until his schedule could become more consistent, and the timing worked better to dedicate time to updates.
