Acts 13: Sending - August 2, 2020

This week, we take a look at the first missionary trip that Paul took. Notice how Paul relays a brief overview of the history of God's people in the synagogue, and how God opens the message up to the Gentiles. 

Sadly, also take note how the religious leadership try to hinder the Gentiles from hearing the message of hope. Let us learn to be obedient to the call of God to love our neighbors and share his joy and his grace.

As we continue into our series in the book of Acts, we come to an unexpected transformation of a man named Saul. When we first met Saul, he was overseeing the murder of Stephen. At the beginning of chapter nine , he's breathing murderous threats and rounding up followers of Jesus (with the approval of the high priests). Surely, he was an enemy of the early church. A Brief Update About Website Updates

Until this post, our website hadn't been updated in nearly a year.  We apologize for the inconvenience, and hope to post more videos from our sermons shortly. We are currently in a series in Philippians, and would love to explore that letter to an early church with you. On September 2, 2021, Pastor Jeff's wife passed away because of complications around leukemia and its treatment. The result was that the updates of this website were not as high of a priority until his schedule could become more consistent, and the timing worked better to dedicate time to updates.
