Acts 5: Listening and Responding - June 7, 2020

Greetings!

We had our first service back on site since the COVID outbreak. We hosted it outdoors, and we'll plan on doing that for the June 14th service and as many summer services as we can.

There are three things we focused on while looking at this chapter:
  1. Who's speaking to us?
  2. Who are we listening to?
  3. How are we responding

As we continue into our series in the book of Acts, we come to an unexpected transformation of a man named Saul. When we first met Saul, he was overseeing the murder of Stephen. At the beginning of chapter nine , he's breathing murderous threats and rounding up followers of Jesus (with the approval of the high priests). Surely, he was an enemy of the early church. A Brief Update About Website Updates

Until this post, our website hadn't been updated in nearly a year.  We apologize for the inconvenience, and hope to post more videos from our sermons shortly. We are currently in a series in Philippians, and would love to explore that letter to an early church with you. On September 2, 2021, Pastor Jeff's wife passed away because of complications around leukemia and its treatment. The result was that the updates of this website were not as high of a priority until his schedule could become more consistent, and the timing worked better to dedicate time to updates.
