Acts 3: Pointing Towards Jesus - May 17, 2020

Greetings, we're into week number three of our look into the book of Acts. We want to look at the early church and explore how their lessons can apply to our current life of following Jesus.

Notice in this chapter that there's power in the name of Jesus. See how Peter uses the Old Testament and its prophets to confirm the identity of Jesus. Finally, see the hope that rests in the reality of the promise that Jesus fulfills -- that we have a God that has made a way for us to be his people.

As we continue into our series in the book of Acts, we come to an unexpected transformation of a man named Saul. When we first met Saul, he was overseeing the murder of Stephen. At the beginning of chapter nine , he's breathing murderous threats and rounding up followers of Jesus (with the approval of the high priests). Surely, he was an enemy of the early church. A Brief Update About Website Updates

Until this post, our website hadn't been updated in nearly a year.  We apologize for the inconvenience, and hope to post more videos from our sermons shortly. We are currently in a series in Philippians, and would love to explore that letter to an early church with you. On September 2, 2021, Pastor Jeff's wife passed away because of complications around leukemia and its treatment. The result was that the updates of this website were not as high of a priority until his schedule could become more consistent, and the timing worked better to dedicate time to updates. Thank you for your prayers and support, and we welcome you to visit us on Sunday mornings at 10:30am,  all year.
