Passover Through Jesus - April 5, 2020

We're into our third week where we can't gather together at our physical church site, so we've had to find other ways to study God's word, communicate and gather together. We're a small church that's trying our best to do just that. Thank you for joining us online. This is the sermon from April 5, 2020.

We've been including a song the past two weeks, this week, we'll include two. We have a great a wonderful God who is more loving, more beautiful than we can fathom. We can stand amazed at thsi reality as he has provided a way for us to know him through Jesus. The first song is Jimmy Needham's version of I Stand Amazed.



Okay, so maybe three songs. But this next one is a two for one from Cross Worship. We can join into worship with all of creation to a Creator. We can trust Jesus will bring us through anything.

As we continue into our series in the book of Acts, we come to an unexpected transformation of a man named Saul. When we first met Saul, he was overseeing the murder of Stephen. At the beginning of chapter nine , he's breathing murderous threats and rounding up followers of Jesus (with the approval of the high priests). Surely, he was an enemy of the early church. But then God changes his trajectory. He transforms Saul. When God is speaking to Ananias about this change, watch how deep that change digs in: But the Lord said to Ananias,  “Go! A Brief Update About Website Updates

Until this post, our website hadn't been updated in nearly a year.  We apologize for the inconvenience, and hope to post more videos from our sermons shortly. We are currently in a series in Philippians, and would love to explore that letter to an early church with you. On September 2, 2021, Pastor Jeff's wife passed away because of complications around leukemia and its treatment. The result was that the updates of this website were not as high of a priority until his schedule could become more consistent, and the timing worked better to dedicate time to updates. Thank you for your prayers and support, and we welcome you to visit us on Sunday mornings at 10:30am,  all year.
